Hello, my name is Daniel (Danny) Card. I am a Peabody Award Winning Video Editor, primarily known for my works in Documentary. I started my career as an Assistant Video Editor for VICE News’ nightly TV show on HBO in 2016. A year later, I was promoted to Shortform Video Editor for VICE News Digital, editing 5-20 minute pieces for VICE’s website, YouTube and socialmedia platforms. During my time at VICE, my colleagues and I have won multiple Emmy Awards including our award for Outstanding Coverage in the 31st Award Ceremony for Charlottesville: Race and Terror. This was a piece I Assistant Edited for. As an editor my colleagues and I have won a Webby for News for Parkland: Teens Tell Us Why They’re Protesting. My biggest achievement was receiving the Peabody Award for VICE’s series called Transnational S1, in which I helped edit our UK episode.

As I continue to grow as an editor, I am extremely excited to be working in many forms of media. I have experience doing scripted short-form and feature films! I also enjoy editing music videos, creating ads and everyting in between. With my skills in working as an editor and honing my other skills in color and audio, I'm really looking forward to making my next collaboration even better than the lasts!
